1. Who we are
CrewCall (crewcallevents.com) is a platform that connects event companies with ushers and event staff in Egypt. It is operated by CrewCall Events, Cairo, Egypt ("CrewCall", "we"). By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms.
2. What CrewCall is, and is not
CrewCall lets companies post events and jobs, and lets ushers apply, be hired and check in. We are not the employer of any usher and not a party to the work arrangement between a company and an usher. Companies decide who to hire, and ushers decide which jobs to accept.
3. Accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an usher account. Company accounts must be opened by an adult authorised to act for the company.
- Give accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- We may ask for identity or business documents. We may suspend or remove accounts that give false information or break these terms.
4. Pay between companies and ushers
Every job is paid directly by the company to the usher, outside CrewCall. CrewCall does not hold, collect, guarantee or process these payments, and is not responsible if a payment is late, partial or missing. Agree the rate, hours and payment method clearly before the shift. Rates shown on a job are set by the company.
5. Company plans and payment
- Companies pay CrewCall for plans: By Post (one event post), Monthly, 6-Month and Yearly. Prices are shown in Egyptian pounds on the plans page and may change for future purchases.
- Payments are processed by our payment provider, Paymob. We do not store your card details.
- Monthly, 6-Month and Yearly plans run for their stated period and do not renew automatically unless the page says so at the time of purchase.
- No refunds. All plan payments are final once paid, including unused posts and unused time. This does not limit any right you have under Egyptian law that cannot be waived.
6. Your conduct
Do not post false or misleading jobs or profiles, harass others, discriminate unlawfully, share other people's personal data without permission, try to bypass site security, or use CrewCall for anything illegal. Jobs must be genuine events with real work.
7. Content you post
You keep ownership of what you upload (photos, profile text, documents). You give us a licence to store and display it as needed to run the service, for example to show your profile to companies you apply to. Remove it by deleting it or your account, subject to section 11.
8. Ratings and reviews
Companies and ushers may rate each other after completed work. Reviews must be honest and respectful. We may remove reviews that break these terms.
9. Cancellations and no-shows
Repeated cancellations or no-shows may affect an usher's reliability score and access. Companies who cancel events should tell hired ushers as early as possible. Because CrewCall does not handle usher pay, compensation for a cancelled shift is a matter between the company and the usher.
10. Our liability
CrewCall is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that jobs, ushers or companies will meet your expectations, that the site will always be available, or that anyone's conduct is lawful. To the extent Egyptian law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses or for disputes between companies and ushers.
11. Ending your account
You can stop using CrewCall at any time and ask us to delete your account at crewcallevents@gmail.com. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. We may keep records we are required to keep, such as payment records.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you on the site or by email. Continuing to use CrewCall after a change means you accept it.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Disputes go to the competent courts of Cairo, Egypt.
